Once again, death invaded the city of Georgetown, GA claiming the
this time the life of Mr. Thomas C. Wilson, Jr., on Friday, May 13,
2016. Mr. Wilson was the son of the late Mr. Thomas C Wilson Sr,
and Mrs. Sadie Wilson. He was born on November 1, 1944 in
Eufaula, AL.
At an early age he accepted faith in Christ, was baptized and
admitted into fellowship of the First Missionary Baptist Church,
Georgetown, GA.
Mr. Wilson was employed with Suisman & Blumenthal (Hartford,
CT) and as a driver for the U.S. Postal Service for more than 27
years. His hobby was playing dominoes with family and friends
He was joined in Holy Matrimony to the late Mrs. Catherine Glenn
Wilson. To this union one son was born, the late Thomas C Wilson.
In addition to his parents, wife and son, he was preceded in death by
his two brothers, Marion Billings, and George Johnson; and a
special friend, Ms. Frances Perkins.
Thomas was called to eternal rest on May 13, 2016. He will be
missed by all who knew him. He leaves to cherish his memory,
three grandchildren, Shanteria, Shawanda, and Ava Deawlson; two
great-grandchildren, Braylen and Giana Deawlson, all of South
Bay, Fl; four sisters, Maggie Wilson Peterson of Georgetown, GA,
Barbara (Eddie) Cooke of Hartford, CT, Lillie (Rev. Ronnie)
Flowers of Eufaula, AL, and Frances Johnson of Miami, FL; one
sister-in-law, Dorothy Billings of Georgetown, GA; a very special
niece, Lisa Billings of Georgetown, GA; a special friend, Rev.
McArthur Williams Sr of Georgetown, GA; and a host of sorrowing
nieces, nephews, cousins and friends
