Grubbs Family Mortuary sadly announces the passing of Ms. Valeta Freeman 54, of Eufaula Alabama. Service's are entrusted to. Grubbs Family Mortuary. A Name You Can Trust And Stand On. When Only The Best Will Do! We ask That you please keep the Freeman Family in your prayers as they travel through this difficult journey.
In everything there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the
heaven: A time to be born and a time to die; a time to plant and a time to
pluck up that which is planted.
Valeta Elise Freeman was born September 22, 1969, to Samuel and
Louise Freeman in Clayton, AL, where she grew up surrounded by love
and community. She was one of 5 children to this union. She received
her education at Clayton High School, where she laid the foundation for
her future. She accepted Christ into her life at a young age under the
guidance of Saint Mark Baptist Church, a decision that shaped her
compassionate and caring spirit.
Valeta was the life the party. Always bringing laughter and joy to those
around her. She had a contagious smile and vibrant personality that
could light up a room. She had a passion for travel, fashion, and
shopping, but most of all, she loved being a caretaker for those in need.
As a caretaker, she selflessly devoted herself to the care and well-being of
those around her, always putting others first. Her family was her rock
and she cherished every moment spent with them. Her motto was
“Family First” and she lived by those words everyday of her life.
She is preceded in death by her father, Samuel Freeman, Sr.
She is survived by her two children, Brandon Salter and Dewey Gamble;
mother, Louise Freeman; three brothers, Samuel Freeman, Nicholas
Freeman and Michael Pearson; one sister, Nikki Freeman, special
Godsister, Kadrienne Eutsey; six grandchildren, Dontez Amire Martin,
Jalayah Monae Salter, Mah’Lani Jade Salter, Taylor Elise Gamble, Ivy
Ariyah Gamble and A’reyah Kior Salter; and a host of nephews, nieces,
aunts, uncles and friends, who will deeply miss her. Valeta’s memory
will be cherished by all who knew her. Her love, laughter, and legacy
will live on in the hearts of her family and friends. Rest in peace, Valeta.
Your love and light will never be forgotten.
