Vickey Dione Brown

Vickey Dione Brown was born on January 27, 1954 in Eufaula, Alabama to the late Albert and Sarah King Brown. She was the sister of the ate Ulicee Brown.

She was married to the late Sim Strong of Eufaula, Alabama.

She was preceded in death by her grandparents: William and Lena Kings of Eufaula, Alabama and Ulicees and Altherie Brown of Abbeville, Alabama.

She moved to Rhode Island in 1959. Vickey commuted between Alabama and Rhode Island as her homestead.

She went to Eufaula High School and later attended the OIC of RI where she earned her certification as a nursingassistant. She also worked at Hasbro Toys in the early 80's, until she was laid off.

At the time of her passing Vickey was a homemaker. She was a very good cook and extended her home to any person in need of a place to stay.

Vickey loved to talk on the telephone and her relationhips with family and friends were a bond tat could never be broken and held up for years. Some of those people she leaves are Dave (Junior) Jernigan, Barbara (Lil Momma) Whigham, Shelia King, Christopher "Pop" Malone an Earlie Lewis.

Vckey leaves to cherish her memories seven children, five daughters, Shannat Brown of Johnston, RI, Nicole Brown, Aisha Brown both of Providence, RI, Caitlin Brown of East Providence, RI and Sarah Brown of Daytona Beach, FL; two sons, NiKittey Brown and Jarvon Brown both of Providence, RI; nineteen grandchildren and two great grandchildren; four sisters, Lena Davs, Althear Brown, Janie Wilson and Auretha Brown all of Providence RI; four brothers, Albert Brown, Jr., Leon Brown, Charlie Brown all of Providence, RI and Charles Brown of Nebraska City, NE; five aunts, Earlie Mae Lewis (Neal) of Eufaula, Alabama, Georgia Brown, Kathie Mae Brown Coxin (Paul), Kelly "Ma-Ma" Brown and Rosa Mae Mills of Abbeville, Alabama and Thomas Brown (Tossie Ann) all of Abbeville, AL.
