William Hollins Jr. was born August 16, 1949 to the late Mary Hollins and William Hollins Sr.
At an early age he accepted Christ and joined the Tabernacle Baptist Church, Eufaula, Al.
He received his education at TV McCoo and Barbour County High School. After graduating, he
joined the Navy and after his years of service, he became a car salesman until his retirement.
He was preceded in death by his uncles; Andrew Harris Sr., Robert Harris, Willie Harris, Moses Hollins, Dan Hol-
lins, and Thomas Hollins, his aunts; Francis Coleman and Mary Jean Mitchell, his brothers; Ronald Hollins, Albert
Hollins, and Bobby Hollins; his nephew Kedrick Sheppard
William loved his family and he loved life. He truly lived his life to the fullest and he never met a stranger.
He departed this earthly life in Eufaula, Al on Wednesday, September 3, 2025.
He leaves to cherish his memories two daughters; Karen Lindsey (Chicago, IL), and Kindra Warren (Albany, GA);
seven grandchildren; David G. Johnson III, Daidonne Jene Johnson, Daija Johnson, LaMauria Williams, LaMar Wil-
liams (Chicago IL), Kaitlin Masoline (Montgomery, AL), and Kaleb Hodge (Albany, AL); three great grandchildren,
Amir Johnson, Amari Johnson, and Shaquille Gilmore Jr. (Chicago, IL); two sisters, Cinder Parks (Eufaula, AL) and
Kathy Ricks (Columbus, GA); four brothers, James L. (Grace) Thomas Sr. (Eufaula, AL), Robert Earl Hollins
(Eufaula, AL), Richard (Kimberly) Hollins (Newnan, GA), and Johnny Ed (Michelle) Deloach (Richmond, VA); one
sister in law, Betty Thomas (Hartsville, SC); three aunts Ella Penn (Eufaula, AL), Rosa Hollins (Montgomery, AL),
and Mary Hollins (Atlanta, GA); and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends, as well as his best friend Patrick
Kimbrough, Orlando, FL.
