Ms. Willie Maude Anglin was born in Barbour County, Alabama on February 18, 1929 to the late Rev. Pryor Anglin Sr. and the late Hattie (Floyd) Anglin. She was the third oldest of nine children.
At an early age, she accepted Christ at the Old Mt. Silla Baptist Church under the leadership of the late Rev. W. R. Smith, where she remained a faithful member until death.
She was preceded in death by: seven brothres, two sisters, a stepmother, one brother-in-law, two nephews, one niece and one great nephew.
She entered unto God's eternal rest on the morning of July 15, 2012, at home surrounded by loved ones.
She leaes to cherish her memories five sisters, Willean Anglin (Detroit, MI), Annie Ruth Anglin (Clayton,AL), Gloria Dean (Detroit,MI), Ruth Jones (Texas) and Ann Kirksey (Wilsonville, AL): one brother-in-law, Robert Shine (Auburn, NY); two sisters-in-law, Gracie Anglin (Tampa,FL) and Maggie Anglin (Detroit,MI); thirty-three nieces and nephews, and a host of great nieces and nephews, great-great nieces and nephews, relatives and friends. A special friend Earlene Tyson. Although she never had any children of her own, she was a mother figure to many. She helped raise Lee Ell, Agnes, Ruthie and her grandchildren, Pryor Jr. and Annie Ruth's children.
